When you are using the e-learning system for Roskilde Festival, we will start to process the personal data you provide about yourself in our IT-systems.

It is important for us to emphasize that we process your personal data as little as possible and to a minimum as the sole purpose and interest we have in processing your personal data is to maintain a registration of your new skills.

Who is Roskilde festival?

First of all, you must know that when we write Roskilde Festival we mean the Roskilde Festival Association, CVR-No.: 39122715. This is the legal entity that is the data controller in relation to your personal data.

Why do we process your personal data?

Our main purpose as a festival is to arrange a good music festival, and we do this, among other things, by securing a competence-level for volunteers like you.

Of course, you have to be aware that our processing of your personal data in the e-learning system is necessary for Roskilde Festival. If you don’t use the e-learning system it is not given, that you can participate in certain roles in the festival.

How do we process your personal data?

We process data by collecting, systematizing, storing, using, saving, deleting, transferring and disclosing the data we have on you. As a main rule, we will permanently delete or anonymize all of your personal data in the e-learning system after the festival.

We are using People-VOL as the tool, that helps us keep track of the e-learning modules you have completed. We have already secured your consent for processing your personal data in that system, but you should know that the skills are transferred to your profile in People-VOL.

Is it safe?

We make sure to keep the data you give us and the data we receive about you from others secure and confidential. The majority of our data processors are located within the EU, but we also use a few data processors outside the EU. Of course, we have ensured that all our data processors have the same level of security for your data as we have, and internally we see to educate and teach each other to make sure we have a high level of data security. Where appropriate, we also make sure to encrypt, pseudonymize or anonymize your personal data.

We will at all times ensure that we comply with the applicable personal data rules and regulations.

You may also use this email address if you want access to the data we process about you, if you would like to correct data about you that you don’t believe is correct or if you would like to have your data deleted.
